R.I.P Mark Sanford

In the immortal words of the good reverend, Jeremiah Wright: Mark Sanford got caught "ridin dirty". It's about time too; South Carolina was starting to feel left out. We haven’t had a good sex scandal since Strom Thurman knocked up that black chick. And when was that, like the 50's? Politicians are scum. The only thing shocking about this whole sorred mess is that people are shocked.

I have to admit that I do like Sanford. He has been the best governor in my lifetime. He is what every politician should be, an obstructionist. Unfortunately this little trip to Argentina should do him in politically. I say should because stranger things have happened. DC mayor Marion berry was caught smoking crack with a hooker and is still relevant, in DC anyway. President Bubba was elected twice mainly because of his penchant for receiving head. He may be the next guy to lead the UN.

The most tragic thing to come from this is how far this will set back the reform movement in SC. There is no one in the field that has the stones to stand up to the "good ol boys" in Columbia. And after seeing how even his own party trashed him no one ever will. Having conviction is nice but not at the cost of losing power. And no one in that bunch wants to lose his or her power. So I guess the good people of sc can look forward to another 233 years of business as usual from the same cast of characters. The powers that be in SC are never going to allow a person who wants to rock the boat politically to hold the office of governor. Sanford got close and was destroyed. This is beside the fact that he was caught giving “The Girl From Ipanema” the hot beef injection. He was a political dead man walking. The SC legislator holds a lot of power in this state, to much power for my taste. And the sheeple of the Palmetto State are easily brain washed. Mark Sanford’s main crime (besides slipping his dong inside someone other then Jenny) was pointing out the brainless activities of our elected officials; the wasteful spending, the country club cult like mentality of the state house, and trying to change the status quo.

I have come to expect my elected officials to fail morally. All politicians are inherently bad, evil people. That is why they were politicians. And in the end isn’t that what we want? A blood thirsty, fight for what they believe in, fuck anything that moves, hard ass? Or a limp wristed, go along with the crowd, don’t make any waves, doughboy.

Say what you want about Governor Sanford, but he fought to change the way politics works in this state. I doubt we will ever have someone with the guts to go to war with a system as corrupt as the South Carolina State House again.

The Evidence Keeps Poping Up............

The evidence against Barak Obama keeps growing everyday. This story comes to us from mediacircus.com. He sued Citibank to force them to make bad loans to people. The man is a disgrace and he and his socialist henchmen have single handedly destroyed the US economy.

More Bad News For The Dems

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26436824/

Coming off of the most uninspired, boring convention to date, the bad news just keeps coming for the dems.
The economy grew last quarter, and this is not good for Democrats. Like a successful surge in Iraq, the dems know that they cannot hang there hat on succsess so they have to hope the economy stays shitty, and that more Americans start losing there life in Iraq. They are the party built on "we already lost the war" and "we are heading toward a economic depression". So if the economy is growing, and we are having success in Iraq were does that leave the dems? Apparently at least dead even if not a couple of points behind McCain. Which is unprecedented during a convention. History and conventional wisdom has always shown a "bump" in the polls during a candidates convention. The tracking trends I have looked at show McCain trending upward and The Obama stagnating to say the least. Of course we will have to wait until after he appears and speaks tonight for a clearer picture. It's great timing for him as well, as college football starts tonight, and of course no one has any interest in that. The real campaign begins tomorrow, when it is expected that McCain will announce who he will nominate for veep. I'm betting on a hard core right wing surprise, anti abortion, pro military, pro economic growth, pro gun, hard ass son of a bitch, to get the base excited going into the twin cities. The thought of Lieberman is laughable, but he is going to need someone who can stand toe to toe, and spank Biden in the arena of ideas during the debate. Will see.

KILL THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should erect Platforms to burn politicians at the stake in the shadow of the Jefferson Memorial on the capital mall. When a senator, member of the house, lobbyist, president, bureaucrat, or any government employee passes a law, writes an order or takes any action which could do any harm financially or physically, is caught in a lie, or commits any other crime, he or she, as well as their family would be dragged to the capital mall beheaded or burned at the stake on live TV (C-SPAN 4?). All assets of the offender would be sold off and deposited into the treasury.

We have had too low of standards and expectations of the people we send to Washington DC. Some would say these measures that I call for go to far. But I believe that they are needed to make these people take a step back and stop and think before they sign there name to another needless bill, or executive order. The threat of having to be covered in pitch and set aflame might just do this. I believe we would have a better caliber of candidates as well. Some lawyer or midlevel executive thinks he wants to throw his hat in the political ring so he can increase his or her power base, they might just give it a second thought. And in a few generations we will either have a less corrupt government, or the skies above northern Virginia would bellow with the smoke of the wicked. Either way it would make for good TV.

Who Won? Who Knows?

If you would have told me this past November John McCain in all likely hood was going to be the nominee for the republicans I would have laughed in your face. Of course he didn’t do to well in the south. And like I have said before you are not allowed to be President unless we in the south say so.

The picture is not so clear on the democratic side. Obama had a decent showing among cracker men, (aka honkies, aka “the man”) especially in the south. If it wasn’t for the Latino vote the night would have been a disaster for Clinton. I have not seen a truly accurate delegate count, but it looks like the difference is going to be about 150 to 200 in Hillary’s favor. Not a lot coming out of Super Tuesday, and nothing Obama cant over come.

No Soup For You Tuesday

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl for political junkies. I’m still not convinced we will know whom the nominees are going to be come Wednesday morning. But it’s going to be fun watching the talking heads in the media cream their pants trying to figure out whom the frontrunner will be.

According to a friend of mine who keeps up with the polls more than I do California is totally up in the air. This is not surprising of course. This is the biggest of battle ground states. http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/2008/california.html

According to some polls I have looked at Clinton and Obama are in a statistical dead heat. And on the Republican side Romney has a slight edge. In both cases it looks like it will come down to the undecided voters.

I still remain hopeful that we will be swallowed up by a black hole between now and November, so that we may be spared the indignity of having to choose between two idiots who want control of our great nuclear arsenal.

OK here's what happend..........

I think what happened in New Hampshire was a combination of two things. The first thing is, Madam Clinton's staged crying outburst had some affect on New Hampshire's women folk. Second, the people of New Hampshire got tired of every news organization telling them who they were going to vote for. New Hampshireites have always had a long history of delusional thinking, by telling themselves that they are politically important. The reality is of course.....they're not. There importance is manufactured by the date they hold the primary. They are first. So yes every chump with presidential aspirations will be seen shaking hands with every person at every diner in the state.

The real primaries will start in my state of South Carolina and the Union strong hold of Michigan. I also don't by this crap that the nominees of both parties will not be decided until the conventions. This is just wishful thinking by the media.

I think both parties will see a clear front runner by the time Super Tuesday rolls around. But that does not mean that the "also rans" will give up, especially on the Republican side. It's still realistically a 5 way race there. For the Dems it looks like a two way race between Clinton and Obama.

Right now the only prediction I can make is that Edwards will throw his support toward Obama when he runs out of money, which should be just after the South Carolina fight.

I'm hoping that my partner in political philosophy Jeff and my self can make it to a number of candidate speaking engagements during the run up to the SC primary. If so, we will give you full reports.

Let the games begin
Ma halo.

I'M BACK BABY!!!!!!!!

In the immortal words of Bostons Tom Schultz, "it's been such a long time".

Just a few scribblings on Iowa.

No matter what your political leanings are, you have to say that it was a great day for our country when Obama took the "hawkeye cauci". Hopefully he will be able to dodge the Clinton war machine and keep up the momentum.

This year I will take a different approach to the election. I will work more toward keeping certain people out of the Oval Office as opposed to trying to to put someone in. The candidates in question are, Clinton, Huckabee, and Edwards. I feel that these three would do the most damage to our great country and should be stopped in the primaries.

But more on that later. The picture will be a little more clearer this Wednesday.

It's great to be back. Lets cut through these plastic little politicians like Ghengis Khan!

Our Next Candidate......

Our next Candidate is someone everyone knows. Has personally killed more people than anyone in history. He is loved by some, hated by others, some even think he's a myth. No I'm not talking about Kyser Soze, it's God himself.

Our Next Nomonee Is.........

One of the greatest music pioneers of the real punk scene. Mr GG Allin.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This is the man that took punk off of it's high and mighty perch and brought it back down where it belongs........in the sewer. If you were lucky (or unlucky) enough to see him perform live, you probably left with the smell of feces and urine wafting through your nose. These little piss ant emo bands that call themselves Punk should try to find some bootleg video of his live shows and quit the music business.

The only reason I'm nominating GG, is the thought of his state of the union address makes me happy. I would love to see him just drop trow and take a big dump on the podium and fling it at Hillary, Bidden, or any Supreme Court Justice. He would bring the Washington establishment to it's knees.

Todays nominee, BRING BACK DICK!!!!!

Today's fantasy presidential nominee is Richard Milhouse Nixon.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Love him or hate him, he is (was) the consummate politician. He could politically cut you with the efficiency of a razor and you would not know it until you bled out. The Oval Office could use some iron cajones after some of the limp wristed pansies that have occupied it over the last two decades. He could get us out of Bush's' war like he had to get us out of Kennedy's war. Plus he had no problem putting hippies in there place and that place was the ground (Kent State). Come on people, the positives out weigh the negatives here. Let's, BRING BACK DICK!!!!!!

Must Be That Global Warming

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070705/ap_on_re_us/heat_wave;_ylt=AoCHVQiq0Scie29_FoyDVDUE1vAI

It's The middle of summer, and out west in the middle of the desert it's hot. This is obviously more evidence of the global warming. There is no other explanation. Let us all pray that the global warming does not bring snow to the north east this winter. The horror, the horror.

In other global warming news, it seems Al Gore Jr has a taste for the pot. He also figured out how to make a Toyota Prius do over 100 miles per hour.

Concert For The Dead Princess Chick

I watched some of the concert yesterday, wasn't half bad. Noticeably absent was U2, not sure if they had a scheduling conflict, or maybe Bono was raising money for some African war lords or something. This past weekend of course, was just a rehearsal for the big show this upcoming weekend. I'm talking of course about the 24 hour world wide Gore 08 campaign rally. Al's booking agent has said that all of his speaking engagements have been cancelled through the next year. I imagine that he will announce this weekend. He will get plenty of face time on all the networks and news channels, leading up to, during, and after the event, so it would be logical to do it. It's kind of ironic that so many acts signed up to do this little dog and pony show, seeing that if Gores wife had her way (and she might come 09) she and the rest of her PMRC (if you are younger than 30 Google it.) posse would stop at nothing to destroy the carers of most of them. Yea, remember that all you wannabe tree hugging hippies? When the PMRC ruled the roost in Washington? Well that was your good buddies Al and Tipper Gore. Hope all you good time Pop stars and Rock and or Rollers have fun sucking at the teat of the people who would destroy you. The sad part is, no musicians, even the ones that Al and Tipper had directly in there cross hairs, (except for Dave Mustaine and Dee Snider) have even called them out on it.

What has happened? I mean Music used to be non partisan, against all politicians be it left or right, Republican or Democrat. It's a sad state of affairs. It used to be that the music community lined up to denounce the political establishment not work to help it. Now today's pop/rock stars can't wait to get in line to falate the bastards. It truley is a dark time.

Ravenel

http://greenvilleonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070629/NEWS01/706290324

I want answers and I want them now! Why was Ravenel allowed to leave the state? Why was he not apprehended in Arizona and brought back to South Carolina? Why is he not sitting in a jail with out bond, because he is obviously a flight risk? Did they at least confiscate his passport? Could some one please contact the Attorney General and get some answers.

My Great State

So it seems the treasurer of the great state of South Carolina is a degenerate speed freak. Thomas Ravenel, the up and coming politico from Charleston got caught trying to buy enough Peruvian marching powder to furnish all of Cortez's army. Only the people of South Carolina would elect a coke fiend to watch over it's money. (To the new treasurer, if your wondering where all of your office equipment is, check the local pawn shops.)

I believe the state should start mandatory quarterly drug testing for all state employees, including elected officials and any one who receives a state pension. The results of the tests should be made public along the lines of the weekly jail blotter. If a person tests positive, that person would immediately be relived of their duties as well as have any future pension payments frozen. This might even relieve some of the strain on the state pension system. You can't get a job sweeping floors these days with out being made to take a drug test why should the people who hold the highest positions in the state be any different?

Thompson And The Rest.

Is Fred Thompson for real or is he just trying to move the Republicans back to the right? Some major players on the conservative right are now calling out Giuliani on his pro-abortion stance as well as his other leftist/socialist leanings. This can be traced directly to Thompson announcing his bid for El Presidente. Now that there is what looks like a true conservative in the pack, there's no need to just blindly support the supposed front runner. Now they have a candidate and no longer feel the need to collectively bite their tongues.

It seems to be a two person race in both parties, Clinton/Obama and Thompson/Giuliani and for good measure I will throw Romney in there also, but the coming weeks will be telling for his campaign. He may get lost in the shuffle and may find his support and money waning.

In the immortal words of Hunter S. Thompson, "The worm is starting to turn". We are getting to the point in the campaign where good men suffer like rabid dogs and campaign managers ponder slitting their on throats just to make the pain go away. Yes my friends its starting to get fun.

Thompson

Well it looks like Fred Thompson is going to throw his hat in ring after all. But is he in it to win it, or just to steer the debate back to the right and away from the center? We shall soon see.

The Only Decent Modern Day Politician

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R._Budd_Dwyer

It was 20 years that R. Budd Dwyer, the state treasurer of Pennsylvania got caught with his hand in the cookie jar to the tune of about $300,000 and was facing 55 years in prison on bribery charges. On January 22 1987 Budd called a press conference where he pronounced his innocence by pulling a .357 magnum out of a manila envelope, placing the barrel in is mouth, and pulling the trigger. (This was fatal by the way.) This was shown on live TV throughout the state of Pennsylvania, and was the inspiration for the song "Hey Man Nice Shot" by the band Filter in 1995.

Budd should be a model for all current and future politicians. He knew he was guilty and did the right thing. There are a lot of guilty politicians in power today, (all of them) but non have the guts to do the right thing by turning their skull into a bloody pile of bone and brain matter on live TV.
